Revealed vs X Analytics
X Analytics and Revealed answer different questions. X Analytics reports how your own posts and account perform. Revealed describes who the followers of any account are, including competitors and creators: their self-described roles, interests and locations, and how audiences overlap. Most teams use both.
The answer in full
X Analytics and Revealed answer different questions, so they are complements, not substitutes. X Analytics reports on your own account: how your posts perform, how many impressions they get and how engagement changes. Revealed describes who follows any account, including competitors, creators and communities you do not own. It reads the public follower list in your own browser, groups followers by the roles and interests in their bios, shows where they say they are based, and compares two audiences to show overlap and differences. Use X Analytics when you want to know what your content achieved. Use Revealed when you want to know who an audience is, for example to benchmark a competitor, check an influencer's audience before a sponsorship, or decide which segment to target. Revealed does not report post performance, and it is independent of X Corp. Most teams that care about audience quality use both tools, because content results and audience composition together explain what is working and for whom.

Common questions
01Is Revealed an alternative to X Analytics?
Not directly. They answer different questions, so Revealed is best used alongside X Analytics, not instead of it.
02Can X Analytics show a competitor’s followers?
X Analytics reports on your own account. Revealed can describe the followers of any account whose followers you can view.
03Does Revealed upload the followers I scan?
No. Scans run in your own browser and the audience data (profiles, bios, analytics and exports) stays in Chrome extension storage on your device. Revealed’s servers only handle your account, plan and billing.
