Audiense alternatives for focused X follower analysis
Revealed is an Audiense alternative for a focused question about the followers of an X account. Scan and search profiles for free; use Pro for bio signals, locations and overlap, with the audience dataset stored on your device. Audiense remains relevant when your research brief needs broader audience intelligence beyond X followers.
3 Audiense alternatives to consider
Written by the team behind Revealed. We put Revealed first for local X follower research; the order reflects that use case, not an independent ranking or a hands-on test of every tool. Competitor descriptions use the official sources linked below.

The answer in full
If your audience-research brief starts with a handful of X handles, Revealed offers a direct way to investigate them. Scan each audience in Chrome, inspect the collected profiles and export a spreadsheet. On Pro, you can compare a competitor with your own account, review self-described roles and interests, and map self-reported locations. The result is a follower-level view with people you can inspect behind the summaries. It does not infer purchase behaviour, provide offline consumer intelligence or replace a multi-source research platform. The strongest reason to choose it is a narrower X research task and a local data workflow.

What Audiense offers today
Audiense positions Discover as the home for its Demand, Insights and Connect products, with audience research across multiple sources and networks.
Consider Audiense when your campaign needs multi-source audience intelligence and research extending beyond a list of X followers.
Answer a narrow research brief before expanding it
An agency brief might ask whether a client's X audience is concentrated among founders or marketing teams. Start with a scan of that account. Search a few role terms in the free profile explorer, then use Pro bio signals to review the wider language of the audience. Inspect ambiguous bios instead of assigning certainty to every label.
Scan a relevant competitor to put the findings in context. Pro comparison shows the people shared by both accounts and those only one reaches. This can help sharpen the brief before committing to wider research. If the client then asks what customers buy, which other channels they use or how they behave offline, those questions need additional data sources.
Try the workflow with one real audience
Translate the research brief into one X handle and a few roles or regions to inspect. Scan the account with Revealed and export the free dataset. Add Pro for grouped bio signals, geography and comparison. Start from new scans; Audiense segments and reports are not imported into the extension.
What is free in Revealed?
Free (0) includes unlimited local scans, the overview, profile explorer, search and raw CSV export. Pro adds bio signals, geography, two-audience comparison, influencers, communities, linked-domain analysis and AI assistant access. Check Revealed pricing for the current Pro offer before upgrading. You do not need an account to start with Free.
What to keep in mind
- Scans depend on the followers available to your signed-in X account and X's rate controls. Unlimited scans is not a promise of immediate or complete collection.
- Bio roles and locations are self-reported and can be missing or ambiguous. Results describe the profiles collected, not inferred buying intent or guaranteed reach.
- Revealed does not measure post engagement, certify followers as real or fake, or import historical reports from another tool.
- Competitor descriptions were reviewed on 2026-10-09 using official pages, not a benchmark test. Check current plans, account coverage and data freshness with the vendor.
Common questions
01Does Revealed offer Audiense-style multi-network consumer insights?
No. Revealed analyses collected X follower profiles. It does not measure purchasing behaviour or combine audiences from Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other networks.
02Is there a free Audiense alternative for X follower research?
Revealed's Free plan includes unlimited local scans, the overview, profile explorer, search and raw CSV export without an account. Bio signals, geography, audience comparison and the other deeper analytical views require Pro. Free follower research is not a replacement for every feature of another product.
03Does Revealed upload the followers I scan?
No. Scans run in your own browser and the audience data (profiles, bios, analytics and exports) stays in Chrome extension storage on your device. Revealed’s servers only handle your account, plan and billing.
04Can scanning with Revealed get my X account suspended?
It's possible. Revealed reads follower lists through your own signed-in X account, and X restricts automated access to its service. X can challenge, restrict or suspend accounts it believes are automated, including linked accounts. Revealed only reads data and paces scans to reduce the risk, but it can't control X's decisions. Keep scans modest, stop if X shows you a challenge, and avoid scanning from a business or client account.
