How to grow on X using your audience data
To grow on X using your audience data, scan your own followers with Revealed and look at who they are: the roles and interests in their bios, where they are based, and which accounts overlap with yours. Then post for those people and engage the accounts they already follow. Revealed gives you the research. It does not grow an account for you, and it never uses your audience data.
The answer in full
Most advice on growing on X is generic: post consistently, reply more, find your niche. Your own follower list is better evidence than any of it. With Revealed, you scan your followers in your own browser and see who they are. Bio signals show the roles and interests people put in their bios, geography shows where they are based, and the influencers view shows which accounts your audience already follows. Compare your audience with a competitor's to see who you share and who you are missing. From that you can decide which topics to post about, which accounts to engage with, and which gaps to fill. Revealed is a research tool. It does not post, follow or message anyone for you, and your audience data stays on your device. Growth still comes from the work you do with what you learn.
Step by step
- 01
Scan your own followers
Open your profile on X and start a Revealed scan. It reads your public follower list in your own signed-in browser, and the data stays in Chrome extension storage on your device.
- 02
Find who your audience really is
Open Bio signals (Pro) to see the roles and interests followers describe in their bios, and Geography (Pro) to see where they are based. Write down the two or three groups that make up most of your audience.
- 03
See who they already follow
The Influencers view (Pro) ranks the accounts in your audience by reach. These are the accounts your followers pay attention to, so they are good places to reply, collaborate or learn from.
- 04
Compare with a competitor
Scan an account in your space and use Compare (Pro). The people they reach that you do not are your clearest growth gap.
- 05
Turn it into a plan
Pick one audience group, a few topics that speak to it and a short list of accounts to engage with. Run that for a few weeks, then scan again and see what changed.
What the data can and cannot tell you
Audience data tells you who follows you and how they describe themselves. It is a strong guide to what to talk about and who to talk to. It does not tell you what will go viral, and it does not measure engagement or reach.
Treat what you find as hypotheses. Try a topic or an account list for a few weeks and judge it on how your audience responds.
Your data stays yours
Revealed does not use your audience data for anything. Scans, bios and analysis stay in your browser, and Revealed's servers only handle your account, plan and billing. Nothing is sold, shared or used to train models.
What to keep in mind
- Revealed does not grow an account, post, follow or message anyone. It is a research tool.
- Roles, interests and locations come from what people write in their own profiles, so people who leave them blank are not captured.
- Revealed does not measure engagement or predict what will perform well.
Common questions
01Will Revealed get me more followers?
Not by itself. Revealed shows you who already follows you and who you are missing, so you can make better decisions about what to post and who to engage. The growth comes from acting on that.
02Does Revealed use my audience data?
No. Your scans stay in Chrome extension storage on your device. Revealed's servers only handle your account, plan and billing, and your data is never sold or used to train models.
03Can I do this on the Free plan?
You can scan unlimited audiences and export a CSV on Free. Bio signals, geography, comparison and influencers are Pro.
04Does Revealed upload the followers I scan?
No. Scans run in your own browser and the audience data (profiles, bios, analytics and exports) stays in Chrome extension storage on your device. Revealed’s servers only handle your account, plan and billing.
