Privacy Notice

Revealed is designed so the public X profile data you scan, analyse, and export remains in your browser’s extension storage. It is not uploaded to the Revealed account service. Revealed does not sell personal data or use extension data for advertising, credit, or lending decisions.

Data handled by the extension

At your request, the extension processes public X profile fields such as names, handles, avatars, bios, public links, self-reported locations, account metrics, and the audience response returned to your signed-in X session. It also stores scan checkpoints, saved audience snapshots, settings, and locally derived classifications and aggregates. This information remains in Chrome extension storage on your device unless you explicitly export, copy, share, or delete it.

Local analysis

Niche, language, geography, audience-quality, domain, comparison, and related insights are derived locally from captured public profile fields. The semantic model, tokenizer, and WebAssembly runtime are bundled with the extension; profile text is not sent to an external AI service for classification.

Account data we process

When you join the waitlist or create an account, we process your email address, account preferences, consent records, connected extension identifiers, and plan entitlement state. We also keep security logs needed to prevent abuse and investigate failures.

Support messages

If you contact us through the support form or by email, we process your email address, name if provided, and your message so we can reply and improve the product. We keep support messages for as long as needed to resolve your request and handle follow-ups.

Billing

Stripe processes payment details. We receive customer, subscription, price, invoice, and payment-status identifiers needed to provide and audit access. We do not store full card numbers.

Extension pairing

Pairing uses a short-lived, single-use code. Device secrets are stored by the extension and only a one-way hash is retained by our service. Pairing transfers plan access, not audience profiles or scan history.

Optional agent connection

Pro users may choose to run the Revealed MCP process on the same computer and connect a compatible agent. The extension authorises that local loopback connection and provides bounded, computed audience summaries rather than raw profile rows. Nothing is exposed through this bridge unless the user installs, configures, and runs the local MCP process.

Retention and your choices

Local extension data remains until you delete individual snapshots, clear the extension’s storage, or uninstall the extension. Waitlist and account records are retained while needed to provide access, meet legal obligations, and secure the service. You may ask to access, correct, or delete eligible account data by contacting the address published with the live service.

Limited use

Revealed uses extension data only to provide and improve the user-facing audience research features described here, maintain security, comply with law, and support the user. Human access is limited to cases where the user asks for support, access is required for security or legal compliance, or the data has been aggregated and de-identified. Raw audience rows are not transferred to the account service.

Third parties

We use Supabase for account infrastructure, Stripe for billing, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse protection, and an email delivery provider for transactional messages. Each provider processes limited data for its role.

X data and affiliation

Revealed is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. Your use of X remains subject to X’s terms and policies.
